We Serve to Remember We are increasingly challenged to explain the significance of the events of September 11th, 2001 to America’s young people – most of whom have no first-hand memory of the occasion.  In partnership with Save the Children, 9/11 Day, and the Corporation for National & Community Service, YSA is calling on youth leaders to help their communities be prepared to stand strong during disasters by organizing disaster preparedness awareness events on or around September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance.
