VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Are you someone with some extra hours in your day to give to our organization? You could help answer telephones, make telephone calls, greet customers, and help us create a warm and welcoming environment for children, youth and families. We could use your help at any of our offices in Prince Frederick, Waldorf, or Lexington Park.

Are you a caring adult with some life experience that you would like to share with young people? Have you thought of mentoring a group of bright and open minds? We are in need of speakers on various topics: financial literacy, workplace readiness and success, college or trade school preparedness, life skills, entrepreneurship, civic mindedness, respect, civility, leadership – a range of topics that would help young people make the transition to adulthood. Think about it: 1 hour of your time could change a young person’s life!

No special skills are needed to help us maintain our premises. Our flower and vegetable beds could use some special attention. Mulch, soil and plant donations are welcome.
